Santa Barbara's "Tardivo ma non tardo" is a Verdicchio from the Castelli di Jesi Reserve that has become a guarantee of quality over time. Made from overripe grapes and vinified in steel, it enchants the nose with aromas of exotic fruit, canned peach, and toasted almonds, and convinces the palate with a rhythmic sip, marked by fresh and briny notes, of long persistence and vibrant materiality.

The “Late but not tardy” is a Verdicchio Classico Riserva from the Castelli di Jesi that, year after year, consistently confirms itself at excellent quality levels. The aromas on the nose are broad and varied, a prelude to a typically savory sip that recalls its terroir of origin, and which ends with a persistence that invites a repeat sip. Santa Barbara confirms itself as a reality capable of enhancing, like few others, the nobility of the regional indigenous grape varieties.

The “Late but not tardy” Riserva is a white wine from Marche that comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 260 meters above sea level, facing northwest and characterized by a mainly clayey subsoil. The must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and the subsequent aging takes place first for 12 months always in steel, and then, after bottling, for another 18 months directly in glass.

This Verdicchio Classico Riserva from the Castelli di Jesi “Late but not tardy” presents itself visually with a beautiful golden color, decidedly bright. The nose is teeming with rich and layered sensations, where the fruit, with a shell, syrupy and with tones that also lean towards the exotic, it is the protagonist of an olfactory progression where light spicy notes also emerge at the finish. On the palate, it has good structure, with a sip sculpted by a refreshing and mineral vein; it closes with a fruity persistent finish. A bottle that, in addition to confirming its exquisite craftsmanship, as evidenced by the scores obtained nationally, carries a noble and interesting project. The label is indeed designed by Catia Uliassi (wife of the legendary Mauro, a Michelin-starred chef whose restaurant in Senigallia is one of the most appreciated in all of Italy), an artist who, like the winery, supports a non-profit organization dedicated to research for neurovascular patients: a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this Verdicchio is therefore allocated by Santa Barbara to this social reality, making it even more reason to proceed with its purchase.
