The Refosco Rosato 'Rosè di Refosco' by Denis Montanar comes from a vineyard of less than one hectare in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, over twelve years old. The grapes ferment spontaneously in Hungarian oak barrels, where the wine then matures for nine months. On the nose, notes of cherry and pomegranate emerge on a floral background of dog rose. On the palate, it shows tense, fruity, and full-bodied, with lively freshness that invites the next sip. A characterful rosé, perfect with shrimp and asparagus risotto
