Pinot Nero 'Pianezze' Buvoli 2020

The Pinot Noir 'Pianezze' by Buvoli comes from the northern vineyards of the Colli Berici, in Pianezze di Arcugnano, 150 meters above sea level on clayey limestone soil with a northern exposure. The grapes are hand-picked and slowly destemmed to keep the berry intact, a step that favors fruity aromas thanks to carbonic maceration. The wine ages for 15 months in barrique and tonneau of French oak on its fine lees, then rests for a long time in the bottle. On the nose, it opens with fruity notes with spicy hints, on the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with elegant and silky tannins. Excellent with a red wine braised beef
