‘Le Soleil du Raisin’ from Cascina degli Ulivi is a Piedmontese red of broad and deep complexity, the work of a historic artisanal movement. This bottle is a blend of three vintages of Mounbé with different spirits. The blend without added sulfur enhances the expressive richness of the old vines of the territory. On the nose, it expresses mature and layered aromas with hints of candied fruit, then giving the palate a warm, enveloping sip with very long persistence. At the table, it pairs well with game meat or aged cheeses, perfect with a braised wild boar.
