From our sommeliers

The Friulano "San Lorenzo" from I Clivi comes from the homonymous vineyard in Collio that hosts plants over 80 years old. Aged and vinified in steel, it reveals a very varietal and expressive bouquet where delicate notes of almond, spring flowers, and light hints of aromatic herbs and citrus blend together. The sip develops on a fresh, smooth, and clean texture, with pleasant savory accents.

vines are about 80 years old and produce few clusters with dense and concentrated aromas. It is from these premises that a particularly interesting wine is born, an authentic expression of the best characteristics of the Collio Goriziano area and its historic tradition.

The wine "San Lorenzo" I Clivi is the white that best represents the tradition of Collio wines, their richness and drinkability. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are sent for fermentation, which occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Before bottling, it rests in steel tanks on fine lees for 12 months. In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color with bright greenish reflections. The bouquet expresses aromas of white flowers, aromatic herbs, fresh almond, white-fleshed fruit, hints of tropical fruit, citrus sensations, and iodized notes. The sip is rich and intense, with harmonious aromas, a very expressive fruit that anticipates a fresh and savory finish.
